On November 25, 2021, Pavana company officially signed a cooperation agreement with VinBigData, Qualcomm, MK Group, Lumi and Sky Light Vietnam to take the first step to implement the strategy of becoming the first AI camera ODM business in Vietnam.
According to B&Company Vietnam, the camera market is now the fastest growing in Vietnam with an annual growth rate of about 8.6% in the period 2020-2026. In quantity, the number of imported cameras in 2021 is estimated at nearly 5 million units, second only to smartphones. Furthermore, the demand for cameras in the Vietnamese market is expected to explode in the next few years, especially when the Government and businesses are accelerating the digital transformation process.
Seeing clearly the opportunities, on November 25, Pavana JSC. officially signed a cooperation agreement with Qualcomm, VinBigdata, MK Group, Lumi and Sky Light Vietnam to take the first step to implement the strategy of becoming the first AI camera ODM business in Vietnam.
During the strategy announcement held on November 25, Pavana, Qualcomm and VinBigdata signed a three-way cooperation agreement to develop a technology platform for high security smart camera products, targeting the high-end, high-quality and affordable segments. Qualcomm will provide technical support, provide tools, design samples, software libraries, source code and chipset components, and help Pavana develop the hardware platform. VinBigData develops AI algorithms related to face & object recognition and behavior recognition, creating outstanding utilities for products.
The smart camera monitoring solution using technology provided by Qualcomm and VinBigData not only provides an outstanding experience for individual customers but also meets the strict requirements of customers who are government agencies or domestic and foreign businesses.
