On October 22, the AMD Adaptive & Embedded Computing Tech Day event, organized by AMD—a multinational semiconductor company specializing in computer processors and related technologies—took place in Singapore, bringing together leading global technology experts. This event allowed businesses and attendees to stay updated on the latest trends in AI, IoT, and other emerging fields, as well as experience real-world applications of these technologies firsthand.
Dr. Nguyen Quy Ha, Director of the Image Analysis Technology Department at VinBigdata, also attended the event and delivered a speech on the potential, research, and development of AI and Computer Vision core technologies. These innovations are applied to VinBigdata’s intelligent surveillance solutions, which are already used by various businesses and organizations across Vietnam and the region. These solutions not only detect fraudulent activities, mitigate security risks, and enhance protection but also help businesses optimize their operational processes comprehensively.
As part of the event, Dr. Nguyen Quy Ha introduced the Comprehensive Surveillance Solution Based on Intelligent Video Analytics, co-developed by VinBigdata and AMD. Specifically, VinBigdata’s core technology has been integrated into AMD’s latest cutting-edge hardware (AMD Alveo™ V70 Card), delivering a high-speed, highly accurate, and comprehensive solution. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the solution firsthand and interact with experts from VinBigdata and AMD at the interactive experience booth.
