Duration:
- Part-time (12 hours/week) for 2 months
- Full-time (40 hours/week) for 1 month
About Us: We are a leading provider of voice assistant technology for cars, committed to enhancing the driving experience through seamless integration of voice commands. As part of our expansion into global markets, we are seeking talented individuals from Indonesia who is native in Arabic and fluent in English to join our team as Native Language Specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product team to configure conversation flows in English & Arabic. Create in-car voice command samples in English & Arabic to train various models, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and cultural appropriateness.
- Provide linguistic expertise and cultural insights to ensure the voice assistant effectively understands and responds to user commands in the target market.
- Record in-car voice commands in Arabic & English languages and prepare corresponding transcripts under our team’s instructions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product team, engineers, QA/QC, to iterate and improve the voice assistant’s performance in local languages.
Requirements:
- Native in Arabic and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (equivalently IELTS >= 6.0).
- Strong understanding of local culture, idiomatic expressions, and linguistic nuances.
- Have working experiences as speaker/broadcaster in radio/television is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and experience driving cars are preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, language studies, communication, or a related field is preferred.
